MAKEUP TRYOUT FOR AGES 5&6 ONLY FOR SATURDAY, FEBRARY 20, 2010
There will be a makeup tryout for the 5&6 age group ONLY at the Batters Box in Sherwood from 1:00PM-4:00PM on Saturday, February 20, 1010.

BOARD MEETING
The next general board meeting will be on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 7:00PM at the Best Western Hotel in Sherwood, AR. You can find directions on our HOTEL page.

YOU CAN STILL REGISTER IN PERSON
Registration will continue at the baseball concession stand Friday, Feb 5 from 3:30-8:00PM and Saturday, Feb 6 from 10:00AM-4:00PM. For the week of Feb 8, 2010, the office will be open from 3:30PM-6:00PM, Monday-Friday for in person registration. (We weren't in Mon and Tues. due to weather, but should be in the rest of the week). You can call the office 501.835.5583 for more information. You may also REGISTER ONLINE as well. Most major credit cards are excepted and will be processed through PayPal. You may also use your PayPal account if you have one already. See the PLAY WITH US page to download a registration form and/or coaches application if you prefer to register in person.

THE SHSOC BOARD APPOINTS A NEW AUXILIARY CLUB
The SHSOC Auxiliary Club is in it's first season and we need your help! The Auxiliary Club has been established the the Board of Directors to help out with special projects around the park. INTERLEAGUE OPTIONS BEING EXPLORED
Several central Arkansas Babe Ruth/Cal Ripken baseball programs met Thursday to discuss their mutual interest in developing inter-league game schedules between their respective programs. Attending the meeting at the Jacksonville community center were representatives from Sylvan HIlls, Cabot, Jacksonville, Lakewood, Little Rock Jr. Deputy and Maumelle.. Additional meetings and negotiations will be needed to develop specific plans, but everyone at the meeting was in agreement that an inter-league schedule would be beneficial to each program. More information on the progress of setting up inter-league schedules will be posted as it comes available.
